Inn at the Cove wedding
I always love when I'm asked to be a 2nd for a wedding. Yes, the stress of the day is not so much on my shoulders I admit. But I'm able to shoot a little more artistic since the couples are really looking at the main photographer for direction. Then in turn I get inspired with new ideas for my own weddings and really get to bring new things to the table. It's all growth...constant.
This wedding I shot with Rachel Neumann Photography who is absolutely amazing when it comes to backlit photos (and much more). I've definitely learned a lot from her. I couldn't wait to get some of these photos up though. I had so much fun shooting down on the beach and at the cliffs. Earlier during the photos at The Inn at the Cliffs the light was really harsh and we thought we had no where to go. We were able to hide behind the rock and get some great backlit shots! I had a lot of fun with these and learned a ton. It just goes to show that photography is one of those things that you never stop learning. You can keep going down the rabbit hole, further and further. Once we got down to the beach the sun was in the perfect spot for some wonderful images. Shooting backlit of course ;) Let me know what you think.
