Santa Margarita Ranch Wedding
As I was driving to the venue...there were a few sprinkles on my windshield. It was pretty foggy and I wasn't quite sure if it was going to rain or not. I didn't mind the fog, it added some drama...the rain would've been fine too. But I'm sure the bride and groom didn't want it to rain on their outdoor ceremony ;D
I've been to Santa Margarita Ranch before, and I love all it has to offer for Wedding Couples. There is so much history given that it is one of the oldest continuously operated cattle ranches in California. It was established in 1774! There are many places to photograph wether it be the meadows and gorgeous trees, vineyards or the ranch houses or barn. My favorite building was The Asistencia building. It is regarded as the first stone-and-mortar structure built in California!
But, let's get to the bride and groom! They seriously had this day all figured out. And it really showed. One thing that was really fun that I've never done at a wedding before was the gender reveal!!! Beth is in her third trimester and doing great. I think the gender reveal was such a special way to include all the guests!
One of my favorite parts of the reception is the toasts. Besides watching the tears flow, some real honest emotion comes out. Andrew was left speechless when thanking Beth's parents for doing such a great job raising their daughter. There were no words that could come close, he literally was speechless...that was real.
Without further a do...here is a peek from the day!
